In ADDITION to being a part of a
LIVING, BIBLE BASED, CHRIST CENTERED CHURCH, and taking advantage of the five fold
ministry in the body of Christ, and again I stress IN ADDITION, and not in
isolation, as there are some who think otherwise and the scripture warn against
this.
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people
do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is
drawing near.” - Hebrews 10:25.
We all must pay the price to sit down, open and read the word
of God, pray, fellowship and discover God for ourselves. So that when we gather
together in church we have a pool of fires. We are not meant to just feed only
on the Sunday Sunday meals from church. Like the Berean believers, we must be a
people who go back to look into the word of God ourselves.
These last days, to survive the wave and sophistication of
error, wiles and deceit of the devil, we must go beyond just “what my pastor
said”. We go to church for corporate worship and to fellowship together, be
inspired and then are released to go further to discover more of God.
Quite a number of Believers are not even reading the Bible.
How do I know this? You see this when many just don’t grasp even the very
basics of our faith.
It’s time to quit outsourcing responsibility for your
spiritual growth to others. In running from pillar to post, you become
vulnerable to error and false doctrines and teachers.
Take advantage of the ministries of true and authentic Five fold
ministry at your disposal. But never forget, the place of personal
responsibility in your spiritual growth cannot be outsourced.
