KNOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES YOU ADVANTAGE IN THE FUTURE - 1Corinthians 2:9-12
The human being is composed of three parts in existence; he is a spirit
that has a soul and dwells in a body, making him a tripartite being just like
God. Thus, three different experiences are happening in the life of every human
being, which makes us different from angels.
Time has three periods: past, present and future. The human body can
only dwell in one of these periods, which is the present. The soul can dwell in
two: the past and the present. That is why man has a memory and can remember
things that happened in the past. But the only thing that man can do about the
future in his soul is to imagine and speculate, which is dangerous because
there is no accuracy in that. It is advanced guesswork and there is no human
being that wants to risk his future on such a fickle thing. Your spirit is the
only part of you that can dwell in the three periods: past, present, and
future. Only the spirit can transverse the three periods.
Your spirit can travel back in time, bring you information from the past
to the present and then go into the future. That’s the advantage that the
spirit has. That is why we need to learn to develop the spirit part of our
being. Many people take time to develop the body, spending all the money they
have and all their energy to develop their bodies. This is building for failure
because as we move into the future, the body would be changing. Developing your
soul will also give you a better advantage than developing just your body.
PRAYER: Father, I
pray for an awakening of my spirit man to pick divine signals in my spirit when
the Holy Spirit is communicating with me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
